From Cassva to Ethanol

We had been researching the super gene cassava close to 20 years; we are only able to commercialize the product 3 years ago. The super gene cassava has been hard coded with our ARA (active root agent), and our bio-fertilizer. Without those 2 substances, the cassava plantation will not be able get 100 tons per hectare in 9~11 months.

I assumed that very soon you will get lots of enquiries and see whether we can sell the super gene cassava seeds to them. In the past 5 years, we have many enquiries from China, India, Africa, South America to try to pinch our technology, they just wanted to order a few kilos seeds and without paying anything. Our company had come out with the policy that we do not sell any seeds to anyone, we only sell super gene cassava seeds bundle with ARA and bio-fertilizer to our contract farmers. And the contract farmers have to sign the off-take agreement with us which mean we will buy back 100% cassava from them. We are their trader.

Super gene cassava (average 25 kg per plant)

As we understand, transgenic approaches to bio-fortify or enhance the yields of crops grown primarily by subsistence farmers have been rather limited. This is particularly true for the starchy root crop cassava. Cassava is the primary source of calories for approximately 600 million people in the tropics and ranks fourth in caloric intake among all crops directly consumed by humans.1 Cassava is valued in many parts of the world for the food security it provides. It tolerates low soil fertility and drought and is resistant to many herbivores due to the presence of cyanogens.2 In addition, the roots of cassava can be left in the ground for several years prior to harvest, providing food security against famine.

 

Unlike many of the world's major food crop plants, cassava is not particularly amenable to genetic improvement through sexual crosses. Many cassava cultivars rarely flower and seed production is often low. In the field, cassava is clonally propagated by stem cuttings. This propagation method is ideal, however, for molecular approaches to cassava improvement, since each plant is clonally propagated and gene segregation or transfer through out-crossing is limited.

 

Transgenic Cassava with Enhanced Starch Production, to determine whether we could increase root starch production, we expressed a modified form of the bacterial gene encoding planting gene under the control of the root-specific in cassava potation promoter. This modified form of the enzyme lacks allosteric regulatory control and therefore would potentially be unaffected by the pool size of regulatory (negative) effectors. Previously, bacterial genes had been expressed in transgenic plants but with mixed outcomes.

Electric vehicle promotion in SE Asia

I am going to Malaysia to promote the electric scooter, electric buggy, electric car and fast charging station in a few weeks, I will mainly stay in KL to meet all the politician.

I am going to Singapore to do the same thing by early April, follow by Indonesia, Philippine and Thailand. Beginning of January 2010, China and all the SE Asia countries have started the "free trade", it is great opportunity to promote more product in the region.

We mainly sell the CKD or SKD components, helping the SE Asia local to build new factories and increase employment, win-win for the local governments.

I hope that you do not miss this "easy money opportunity". You can use same business model to establish supply chain in Canada, USA, and Southern American countries, we have a few agents already start the business in Canada, USA and Mexico.

Diesel uninterrupted power supply

 

Regarding your second hand diesel power generator, our engineer team in Guangzhou has tested many times and found some issues as follow:

 

1. The second hand diesel power generator is just an ordinary heavy duty generator.

2. The filter inside the generator is blocked, the reason for it is maybe your people may have been testing the generator with many type of dirty oils in the past.

3. This generator is only able to burn diesel and nothing else.

 

Joe and the engineers said that we may just use the idea to build diesel uninterrupted power supply, since the market is huge, and also we have completed most of the job in the past (you have seen our uninterrupted power supply in our R & D centre), we have done a quick survey, many developing countries are in need of this type of uninterrupted power supply, especially in China, India, Indonesia and South America where their electricity supplies are very unstable. Most of the developed countries will also demanding huge quantity of the diesel uninterrupted power supply for Airports, hospitals, defences and emergency departments.

 

The prototype and the mass production testing equipment only require small amount of investment. We can start mass produce in the next 5 months. Please see all attached files above.

未来两年内电动汽车将“供不应求”

雷诺-日产(Renault-Nissan)首席执行官卡洛斯•戈恩(Carlos Ghosn)预计，未来两年内，汽车制造商们将难以满足市场对电动汽车（以及为其提供动力的锂电池）的需求。
戈恩昨日在日内瓦车展上表示， 雷诺和日产有望从中获益，因为到2011年时，它们将是“市场中唯一”能够提供电动汽车的厂商。
他表示：“如果我今天必须打个赌，我会说， 我们会很快面对电动汽车产能不足的局面。我所看到的一切均表明，在2011年或2012年，我们将不得不拼命扩建电池和汽车的产能。”
雷诺 和日产正在携手建立足够的产能，以便在日本生产约15万辆、在欧洲生产20万辆、在美国生产20多万辆电动汽车。戈恩称：“我们正在搭建生产体系，还有谁 在这样做呢？”
这两家结盟的法国、日本汽车制造商，正以比其它大型汽车制造商更为积极的态度进军纯电池驱动电动汽车领域，尽管其竞争对手和 行业分析师普遍认为，此类汽车不过是一种利基产品。

Our 100 ha jatropha plantation (marginal land) in Medan Indonesia

Please refer the attach files as we have planted almost 100 ha (marginal land, you may get such land in China for free as the Chinese goverment can not do anything in their 45 million marginal land in China, after the jatropha grow in the marginal land for over 7 years, the landscape can turn into fertile land) in research centre in Medan, Indonesia.

The electric forklift, golf cart, and electric buggy power upgrade package

I just worked out the costing for electric forklift, golf cart, and electric buggy special upgrade package deal:

20 KW (5CA – 7CA fast charging speed) charging station
5 sets 2KW 3CA - 5CA fast charging LCP battery pack (15 pcs 40AH cells), it will replaced their original 2.6KW – 3KW lead acid batteries with a LCP battery pack.
5 sets fast charging BMS
5 sets fast charging balancer

The one 20KW fast charging station is able to handle 5 units of electric forklift, golf cart, and electric buggy. The package deal is US$15,000 ex – CAU China factory prices, and minimum purchasing quantity are 10 packages (10 x 20KW fast charging stations and 50 sets battery pack, 50 sets BMS and 50sets balancer).

Most important issues, don't forget to add your team margin before you send it to the clients.  

Bio-diesel production line three-dimensional graphics

As many clients have requested our new bio-fuel refinery, our engineer teams in Singapore, Guangzhou and Brisbane have worked day and night to complete the first 3D draft for UJO (ultra Jatropha oil – biofuel), we are still working on pine line and valva design. We will delivery the first Biorefinery mill in 6 months period.

For the control room, we will design 3 different types:

Budget – to suit any biorefinery biofuel mill is less than 10,000 tones.

Professional – to suit any biorefinery biofuel mill is in between 10,000 ~ 100,000 tones.

Deluxe to suit any biorefinery biofuel mill is 100,000 tones and above.

The factory landscape is still in the drawing board, all the work should complete in next week in full set of engineering drawing.

當然，很多人可能會問，第二代電動車將使用第一代電動車相同的ECU，電動馬達和控制器？當然不是！第二代電動汽車將需要最高效率ECU電動馬達和控制器，以滿足新一代鐵鋰電池的需要。在2016-2017年之間，我們堅信第二代電動汽車將工業化和商業化，他們將完全取代汽油/柴油家庭轎車和公共汽車。2020年，汽油車將成為古董，就像現在的傳統相機一樣。

We have found China has started to export many production lines to all the developing countries, among them; LED light bulb production lines are most outstanding.  There are three types of LED light bulb production line available in the market.

1.  High end LED lamp – mainly for Japan, EU and Northern America OEM clients, most of them come with ether CE or UL approval.
Middle range LED lamp – mainly for Australia, Korea, Singapore, Eastern European countries OEM clients, most of them come with ether CE or UL approval.
Low end LED lamp – mainly for local consumers and export to developing countries.

The LED light bulb production line will take almost 9 to 12 months to complete all three stages.

• Stage 1: SKD from China, assembly, aging, testing and packaging.
• Stage 2: Import LED Assembly from China, produce LED housing and heat sink locally, assembly, aging, testing and packaging.
• Stage 3: Only import LED diode, LED driver from China, SMT, PCB, and LED housing and heat sink will produce locally, assembly, aging, testing and packaging.

Hopefully, the mutual business model can provide more employment opportunity for most of developing countries.
